Join us for a day of food, fun, and community education. This hybrid event for Latinx families will equip you with the tools you need to navigate mental health and substance use challenges. Workshops are entirely in Spanish and offer a unique perspective of how culture and language intersect with family support systems. Workshop topics include:
❖ Prevention with Purpose
Learn to identify early warning signs of substance use and gambling while understanding risks, recognizing the impact of mental health, and learning effective communication.
❖ Planting Strong Foundations
Explore how identity, culture, and community form the foundation of lasting well-being. Reflect on the roots that keep you grounded and learn how to strengthen them through practical actions.
Follow along as we learn about Embroidery as an ancient storytelling tool. This family-friendly activity will let you practice your own design while learning the significance of ancient symbols in Aztec history.
